I am currently working towards certification as a Full Spectrum Doula, I am considering myself to be similar to an intern and will accept my first three birth and postpartum clients free of charge.
My hope is that our working together will be mutually benefical and we will have supported each other through our journey.
Once fully certified, I will be offering consults for those individuals and couples looking to expand their families through fertility treatment. These consults may include connection to appropriate resources, attending appointments with the birthing parent, providing a sounding board during medicated cycles and fertility treatment as well as support during and after egg retrieval, transfer, the two week wait and timeframe until initial ultrasound.
Fee structure for this will be on an hourly basis with 4 hour package being provided at a discount
My birth package provides an In person visit to meet the family, work to create a birth plan with you and implement our plan for your birth and postpartum journey. Typically these sessions are done around 32 weeks but can be done anytime until the birth is complete.
Should families require special support in pregnancy based on hospitalization or bed rest, or medical conditions, I can be available for ongoing support similar to that of postpartum support as well.
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. At this time, I am choosing to focus my energy on birthwork and postpartum care.I am available for hourly consults for fertility work and can also provide resources and referrals locally.
Pregnancy and birth can be very scary. I am here every step of the way with ongoing support available from 37 weeks onward. I will provide support via text initially and up to 12 consecutive hours of support at the hospital once in active labor. My intention is to be there for both the birthing parent and the partner in order to assist and advocate in any way I can.
Package details coming soon
With my Postpartum work, I offer unwavering support to adoptive and birthing families beginning as early as the day your return from the hospital and for
as long as you feel your family requires care.
I attempt to take on no more than two families simultaneously to allow for 100% focus in my work to be on you and your baby.
Postpartum care can look like many things but it may include work such as:
• Listening to your birth story or the story of your first meeting
• Assisting with light housework and meal preparation while parents tend to the baby
• Assisting with feeding and caring for the baby. This may mean bringing the baby to the lactating parent for feeding while they nap or providing bottle feeds while parents rest
• Modeling the new normal for siblings and helping parents get out with multiple childre
• Advocating for the birthing person and their partner by providing necessary resources
•Supporting families whom may require additional support during overnight hours
